IF: Twisted

This is me.
OK, that will take a little explaining.
I created this piece to use for my website update (coming soon). It would be the icon for my biography. This typifies my sense of humor, and lets people see a bit of what I look like.

Then the Illustration Friday topic came in........

And this was the first image that came to mind.

Oh, boy. I need a vacation.

Tension

IF: Camouflage

This was a tough one.

I had decided not to do this topic until I saw the paper this morning. Strange how the creative mind works. Imagine telling someone who is, say, an accountant, that you were reading the paper and came up with an idea for camouflage.

I'd be gettin' some strange looks.........

Dinosaur

So I'm listening to a story about a girl and a pteranadon, and this image comes into my head. It has no connection to the original story I listened to, as you can tell.

IF: Rejection

I've been wanting one of these mats for OUR front door. My wife is hesitant, as one can well imagine.

Angry

Wanted to try something a little more off the cuff. No preliminary drawing, just ink and paper. I added color intuitively.

Not So Tall For Six

Two images from the upcoming picture book, Not So Tall For Six. These are sent to me low-res to check for image placement and text. Once I approve these, it goes on to the bookbuilders. The author is Dianna Hutts Aston.

IF, your paradise

Too many books, too little time.
