To do the portfolio drop-off thing.

Even though it's virtually an extinct act, I like to have some human contact with what I do.

To me, getting work as an illustrator is a lot like fishing. You send out your portfolio, wait for a nibble, or hopefully a bite. Then you haul in the contract. Hopefully it's a big one!
