Wow, look at that! Thank you! That is, hands down, one of the most dynamic Mad Tea Party scenes I've ever seen!

Is that an older illustration or a new one?

It was our pleasure to feature you.

Jules,

This is a new illustration. I'd never thought of re-creating Tenniel's work before, until I saw your blog banner. I was inspired to try to put a new twist on it, sort of as a thank you. You are, of course, welcome to use it if you would like.

Thanks again,

Frank Dormer

Oh my, Frank. I'm trying to act all cool and collected, but I'm, honestly, squealing and just got finished jumping up and down. 'Cause Eisha and I both love that illustration. We were first thing this morning yakking to one another about how great it is. As I told her, I've never seen such an action-packed Mad Tea Party scene! And we'd LOVE to use it. May we put it on our blog's template (if I can get my tech support husband to show me how) forever more and one day, and we'd be sure to credit you OF COURSE?!

I would be honored to allow you use of it. If you like, I can send you the image sized to match your template on a disc, or email. That way the image will be clearer as it will be formatted from the original.

Frank... Mr. Dormer... Sir,

This is the coolest thing ever. I love the illustration, and I love that you did it special for us, and I especially love Alice's grave little expression and the doormouse peeking over the edge of the table. I can't wait until we get it on our blog.

Your fan, forevermore,

~eisha

I came by way of 7-Imp. I'm a very big fan of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. I love how truly mad you made the Hatter and the Hare. I want to comfort the poor little dormouse. (I'd say Alice too, but she doesn't need me - she's tough!)

(P.S. If you ever do additional Alice illustrations, ping me! I'll come running to see them!)
